Hi Everyone- As the end of the term is upon us I just wanted to send out a few reminders and helpful hints as we move forward throughout the rest of the year.
-First, you are reading this so you are familiar with my blog. Please make sure you check it at least once a week for updates in our class.
-It is very important that you check your grades on Aspen regularly. The website for it is
ma-plymouth.myfollett.com. If you are having trouble logging on please see Mrs. Butters during Com Block or before and after school.
-Use your agenda! I can not stress this enough. Find a place where you write down all of your assignments for each day (or if you don't have any). This will help you to stay on track and stay organized. Knowing what your homework is and when assignments are due is your responsibility.
-If you are absent, make sure that you check in with your teachers for any work you missed. The 10 minutes during Com Block is a great time to do this.
- Get enough sleep. It is really important that you are getting enough sleep at night. This will allow you to be your best during the school day.
-Eat breakfast! It is really important that you have something for breakfast each day. This will help you to remain focused throughout the day.
-Communicate and advocate! Your teachers can do a lot of tricks but we can not read minds. Please make sure you are asking questions and communicating problems you are having. We are here to help so speak up!
1st term ends in two days! Report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, 11/13.
