Industrial Revolution Spreads

Hi Everyone-  I hope you all had a nice break.   Please be mindful that the mid-point for term 3 is this Friday, 3/3.  If you have questions or concerns about your grads please make sure you are talking with your teachers.

A2- Today we reviewed capitalism and communism and you played a game to help you better understand these concepts.  Then we started on the spread of the Industrial Revolution.  We will continue with this throughout the week.  Please be prepared for a quiz on Ch. 19 Sec. 4 on Wednesday, 3/1.  Also, be mindful that your study guides of this unit will be due on Thursday, 3/9.

B2- Tomorrow we will be discussing the spread of the Industrial Revolution and we will be taking a close look at the assembly line and interchangeable parts and the role they played during the Industrial Revolution.  Later this week we will discuss urban renewal.  You should be prepared for a test on this material coming up next week.

Capitalism, Communism, and the Assembly Line

Hi Everyone-  I hope you all had a nice, extended, weekend.  Here are your updates for the week.

A2- Tomorrow we will be working on new ways of thinking about the economy that came about because of the Industrial Revolution.  This should bring us through to the end of the week.  Please note, your study guides will not be due on Thursday, 2/16.  They will be due at a later time.  Please plan to have a "quest" on Thursday, 2/16 on ch. 19.

Life During the Industrial Revolution

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend.  Here are your updates for the week.

A2- Yesterday you worked on the questions that went along with a DBQ.  We will come back to this at a later time.  You were supposed to have a reading check on Ch. 19 Sec. 3.  This will now be tomorrow, 2/8.  Tomorrow you will also finish up the primary source activity we have been working on.
