Protestant Reformation and the Scientific Revolution
Hi Everyone- I hope you are all having a good week. Here are your updates for the week. Please be mindful that term 1 ends next Friday, 11/4.
A2- Today you will continue working on understanding oral presentations. Then you will start working on your project for the Scientific Revolution.
A3- Today we will be discussing the Protestant Reformation. You will have homework assigned today (Ch. 13 Sec. 3 WS) that will be due on Tuesday, 11/1.
B2- Tomorrow we will be discussing how the Protestant Reformation spread throughout Europe. Then we will start discussing effective presentations. You will be working over the next couple of weeks on preparing a presentation for the Scientific Revolution. Please remember that your Renaissance Activity is due tomorrow, 10/27. Also, you will have a reading check on Ch. 13 Sec. 3.

Protestant Reformation
Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I have a few announcements and then your updates for the week.
Announcements:
1. We will be going on our field trip to the Science Museum on Wednesday, 10/19. Please note there are no backpacks allowed. Make sure you bring a lunch and please refrain from bringing peanut products. Finally, wear the blue shirt you were given at the beginning of the year. We will be leaving school no later than 7:30 on Wednesday.
2. Thursday, 10/20 will be an A1 day and not a B1 day.
A2- Today we discussed the Protestant Reformation. We will continue with this on Thursday. Please note that your Renaissance Activity is due on Thursday. You will also have a reading check on Thursday.
A3- Today we started discussing the Renaissance. We will continue with this on Thursday by discussing Leonardo da Vinci.
B2- Tomorrow we will be watching a video on Leonardo da Vinci. Then we will be starting some work on Machiavelli's The Prince.

Tests and Renaissance
Hi Everyone- I hope you all had a nice long weekend. There are some announcements for the week and then your updates.

1. The field trip to the Science Museum is rapidly approaching. We are going next Wednesday, 10/19. Make sure you get your permission slip and money into your English teacher ASAP.
2. Tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/12 is a half day of school. School will be let out at 11:05.
Updates:
A2- Today we finished the Italian Renaissance. Please be prepared for a quick quiz on Thursday and then we will be moving onto the Protestant Reformation.
A3- Today we reviewed for your test on the Middle Ages. This will be on Thursday, 10/13.
B2- Tomorrow, 10/12 is your test on the Middle Ages. Then we will be moving onto the Renaissance.
