World Religions Week #2

Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a nice weekend.  Please note that mid-term is this Friday.  Progress Reports will go home the following Friday, 10/3.  Here are your updates for the week.

C Period-  Today we wrapped up Buddhism.  Tomorrow you will work on a quote activity for Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism.  This will help you prepare for your quiz which will be on Wednesday, 9/24.   Your quiz will be on Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism.  You should study your notes and the questions you answered on Buddhism.

E,F, and G Periods-  Today we wrapped up Buddhism.  Tomorrow you work on a quote activity for Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism.  This will help you prepare for your quiz.  Right now your quiz is scheduled for Wednesday, 9/24.  However, this MAY change.  I will let you know if it does.  You should study your notes and the questions you answered on Buddhism. Finally, you have three paragraphs due tomorrow comparing and contrasting Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism. 

E Period-  Please remember that your thumbnails on Buddhism are due tomorrow, 9/23.  I will give you the first 10 mins. of class to work on them.  If you don't think you will finish in 10 mins. you should work on them tonight.

World Relgions Week 1

Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!  Get ready for our first FULL week of school.  Here are your updates for the week.

All Classes:  Please remember that you all need to complete your current event for this week.  C period you have 2-3 per week.  E,F, and G periods you have 1 per a week.  These should be done in your composition notebook.  See me with questions.   

C Period-  Today we started discussing World Religions.  We took a look at where various religions are practiced.  Tomorrow we will start discussing Confucianism and then move right into Daoism. 
You will be expected to write three paragraphs comparing and contrasting the two.  This will be due on Friday, 9/19.

Week End- Primary and Secondary Sources

Hi Everyone-  I hope you all have had a nice week.  Here are a few reminders as our week comes to a close.

C-  You will be quizzed on primary and secondary sources tomorrow.  Also, your honors summer reading assignment is due.  Please either have a hard copy to hand in or share or email me your assignment BEFORE class tomorrow.  You can email/share it to josberg@plymouth.k12.ma.us.

E,F, and F-  You will be quizzed on primary and secondary sources tomorrow.  After that we will be moving onto World Religions.

Primary and Secondary Sources

I hope you had a great long weekend.  Here are your updates for the week.  Please remember that everyone's expectation signature page and student survey are due tomorrow, 9/3.
